January was Joyous

January was great! The girls let me do their hair a lot! And that is a win in my book.

Brianna got a braid bun on the first day back to school after break.

Maya got a fishtail french braid.

And more hair. This post has a lot of it.

Dallin had his 18-month well visit. He is growing and developing very well, but he did not enjoy getting shots.

We had a few fine weather days so the kids spent some time digging in the dirt.

Dallin...he, uh...well. He ate some dirt.

Sibling screen time! Dallin doesn't usually have much interest in watching things. This moment lasted about 10 seconds and then he was out of there.

More fun hair!

Dallin and his nursery friend. They are the only two in nursery right now! He is getting used to going and loves his leaders.

The kids and I went to a pool with our friends Camille and Emma.

Dallin took a little bit to get comfortable trusting his floaty but once he did, he had a great time.

Criss cross braids.

Maya picked out a pack of airplane spoons for Dallin. He loves using them for his cereal!

This is one of my favorites.

We got a new carseat for baby girl, but Dallin is using it for now.

Brianna had a field trip with her preschool class to the Children's Discovery Museum.

Dallin can reach the doorknobs now, and lucky for him they are levers so the doors are easy to open. Before I took these photos I had been looking for him around the house and found him in the garage!

Ryan and I got the pukes one Saturday. Bleh. No fun. We farmed our kids out to the neighbors for about 8 hours, which was SO helpful. All three kiddos did great at letting us be hermits in bed literally all day long.

I stayed home from church on Sunday (Dallin stayed with me because he had a cough and runny nose) but Ryan felt well enough to take the girls. That didn't stop me from doing their hair!

Then on Tuesday both girls got the pukes and got to stay home from school together. They enjoyed relaxing and watching a lot of TV.

We had a snowstorm! It was only a little bit but at least it snowed.

Heart hair in preparation for Valentine's Day.

Maya had her first homework assignment to create something for the 100th day of school. She chose to make 10 flowers out of crayons. Each flower had 10 petals made out of the crayons. We used buttons for the pollen. She had fun creating it!

Of course Brianna couldn't be left out so she glued buttons to paper while Maya and I worked on the flower project.

We do the Come, Follow Me curriculum for families on Sunday afternoons. The girls are great at staying reverent and listening to the lessons.

More heart hair....

And last but not least, I am 33 weeks along with this little squirt. I swear I am bigger than I look in photos. At any rate, I feel huge. She is a wiggly little person and she makes sleeping hard. I am having a lot of Braxton Hicks and feel ready to be done even though we are still 7 weeks away. Oh well, I am sure it will be here before I know it. At least, I hope so! No crazy symptoms other than being uncomfortable so I guess I can't complain too much.

Here we come, February!
