February!

One month closer to Christmas! Just kidding. I'm not counting down in that fashion.

We went to Burger King. For something. I can't remember why and really, that's weird, because we rarely visit fast food other than Chick fil A. Oh! I remember now! The kids and I met up with my friend at a park and we picked up Burger King on the way home for lunch. Aaaaanyway, they gave the kids crowns with their meals. The crowns were promptly ripped up and turned into a card game of sorts. It was cute to see them make up a game.

We had a beautiful sunny day. The kids and I took advantage with a walk/bike ride. It snowed like 6 inches the next day.

Dallin is POTTY TRAINED! Yay!!!! I had an inkling he was ready for a month or two before we really dove into the endeavor. Once the box of diapers was gone we went for it, and he did great. After 3 accidents within a couple of hours the first morning we switched to Pull Ups. After he kept those dry for four or five days we went to the big boy undies. He had been dry through the night for several weeks before we started potty training (one of the reasons I thought he was ready), which is so nice. I was super impressed that he got it down so quickly!

It snowed one day and was also very cold. After school we all went outside all bundled up and I shoveled the driveway to surprise Ryan. I don't think I had shoveled since like...Maya was born.

When I was about 2/3 done it started snowing again and it very quickly undid all the hard work I put in. It was the thought that counts, right?

Skylo, our Roomba, hard at work.

I sure love this sweet milk (heavy cream, if I'm honest) mustached smile!

We snuck in a few fun hairstyles this month.

It snowed (so much this month!) and then was very windy during the night. We woke up to this natural phenomenon of snowballs rolled by mother nature in the backyard.

I did heart hair for the week of Valentine's.

That's a big bow for a tiny head!

Crystal and her kids came to visit for President's Day weekend. We met up at Jumpin' and the kids had fun playing for a couple of hours. Sadly, Maya was feeling sick so the playtime was not quite as exciting as normal, but the cousins still enjoyed getting to see each other for a few days.

Little Lydia has some sweet moments in her life!

Dallin helped me make Chocolate Blueberry Crinkle Cookies one day simply because I had a hankering for them. They turned out SO good and were a beautiful blue color!

These two are already making some wonderful memories together.

Ooooo! Hair!

Next Up----March!
