Dallin can now go from laying down to sitting up, so we have lowered his mattress in the crib. I won't have another incident like we had when Brianna fell out of her crib!
He is starting to pull himself up on things. Today he got something from off of the ottoman and he was pretty impressed. The look of sheer joy on his face was super cute.
He is very very close to crawling on all fours. He just can't quite get his legs to move under him yet.
He loves food and trying new things. He doesn't eat any baby food anymore. If we put a piece of food on a fork for him, he can get it into his mouth by himself. He can use a sippy cup and a straw.
He loves playing with this toys! His favorites are his light-up piano, dino toy with bouncing balls, books, anything that shakes or rattles, and balls. He also likes to play pass and peek-a-boo. He likes to spend time outside. The grass on his feet doesn't bother him at all.
Dallin loves spending time with Maya, and although I'm not 100% sure, I think he says her name when he calls out, "wawa!!!!" She makes him laugh and feel loved. She's also a pretty good babysitter while I'm showering.
He has 7 teeth (and maybe #8 on its way)! He is still nursing four times a day but I'm trying to wean him onto just bottles of breast milk. I have enough stored in the freezer that we should be able to make it to his 1-year mark. So far he isn't a fan of the idea, but we will get there. He is sleeping well at night (8 PM - 6/7 AM most days). He makes everyone around him smile with his happy personality. Love this baby boy!
