June Joy

June was a full and fun month of joy!

Maya is very sweet with Brianna when Brianna gets hurt (as long as it wasn't Maya who did the hurting). She loves to cuddle with her and try to make her feel better.

We got to have Meredith over for an afternoon! The girls had fun getting to know their cousin better. They spent a few hours playing and then we went to the pool.

We have had some amazing sunsets!

Years ago Ryan bought himself a wallet. He loved it so much that he bought two of them. He recently decided to switch out the used for the unused and it was funny to see the difference in size and shape.

We went to the pool a lot! Ben's wedding was June 22nd and I wanted us all to have a little color on our skin so we went every day unless it was rainy. 

On one of those days we took Emma with us to the pool. She's a great friend to Maya and Brianna.

This is the hairdo I did on Brianna for Ben's wedding. I love how it turned out!! I forgot to take a picture of their hair on the actual day, but Maya had a braided headband into a ballerina bun. 

My kiddos sure love their Papa!!!

Dallin gets his morning nap at church. Ryan is the only human who can get him to fall asleep and stay asleep without having to be in his crib. My friend was kind enough to send me this adorable sleeping face one week. I just want to smoosh it!!

Father's Day happened! The daddy in our house is deeply loved. 

We spent Father's Day dinner with our friends, the Parkers. I brought the Millionaire Cake. It's chocolate cake with a vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream filling topped with salted caramel and shortbread, and frosted with chocolate ganache. If that doesn't make your mouth water I don't know what will! (Holly. Maybe you know what will?)

We had a great rock show put on that evening.

And Dallin is pretty much adorable.

Excavating fun! They were hit with a big hail storm not much after this and they took refuge in their little playhouse.

Maya drew a cute picture to put in the gift for Ben and Sarah. 

And this cute horse picture! She is quite the budding artist.

Summer nights are a great thing! Especially when there is a plethora of rocks to eat.

A tooth has gone missing! Maya now has another loose tooth. It's so crazy and exciting!

Brianna adores horses. She has so many horse toys and likes to play with them every day. 

I came around the corner one day and couldn't see Dallin. I looked a little harder and found him in the nook of books in the family room.
