He eats every 3 - 4 hours during the day. Breastfeeding is going great. He weighs 10 lb 15 oz (14%) and is 22 1/4 inches long (12%). His head is 16 inches around now (87%). Koenigs have big noggins!
He loves to take baths and showers.
He is great at taking naps. They're usually 2 - 3 hour long naps, twice a day.
He sleeps in his own crib in his airplane themed nursery. He has learned which chair is the feeding chair. I laid him on it one time while I grabbed something and he immediately turned his head and started to root on it.
He sleeps really well at night. We have had two wonderful nights of 9 PM - 6:30 AM, but most nights he wakes up around 4 AM to eat. We will be starting to night wean him in the next week or so. Fingers crossed that it goes well. He still won't take a pacifier, so I'm a little bit nervous about being able to give him something to self soothe.
His favorite "toys" are the bouncy seat (as you can see!), his swing that I put him in while I'm showering, his bassinet with the spinning mobile and birdy sounds, and a play mat with a piano on one side that he can kick and play the keys.
This boy loves his LILLEbaby carriers. Whenever I strap him on it's a matter of minutes before he succumbs to the sleep dust and is off in dream land.
